Easy Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake Recipe (Rich & Moist!) 🍫
Who said gluten-free desserts couldn't be deliciously moist and indulgent? This gluten-free chocolate cake recipe is easy, quick, and guaranteed to impress even your gluten-eating friends!
Ingredients:
1½ cups gluten-free flour blend (like Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free Flour)
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (organic cocoa powder)
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water
½ cup coconut oil (melted)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (Bragg Organic ACV)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9-inch cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3: Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, mix warm water, melted coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. To make mixing even easier and quicker, I recommend using a KitchenAid Stand Mixer.
Step 4: Bake
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 5: Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack (like this affordable cooling rack).
Frost with your favorite gluten-free chocolate icing or dust lightly with powdered sugar.
Recommended Tools:
KitchenAid Stand Mixer (saves time & ensures smooth batter)
Quick Tips:
For extra richness, add chocolate chips to the batter.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Enjoy your gluten-free chocolate cake guilt-free, and let me know how you liked it! 🍰✨
